Location: Chesapeake, Virginia
Duration: 12 months.
Onsite Only (5 days/week)
Experience: (Retail / POS domain Must)

Job Description: The Retail POS Test Lead is responsible for owning end to end quality assurance for Point of Sale applications across store operations. This role leads test strategy, planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination to ensure stable, compliant, and business ready POS releases across multiple store formats, devices, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Define and own the POS test strategy covering functional, integration, regression, UAT support, and device testing.
* Lead end to end testing of POS applications including store registers, back office, and peripheral integrations.
* Oversee integration testing with pricing, inventory, payment processors, loyalty systems, reporting, and upstream/downstream retail systems.
* Drive defect management -logging, triage, prioritization, and closure in coordination with development and vendor teams.
* Ensure release readiness through test sign offs, exit reports, and quality metrics.
* Support pilot, rollout, and post go live validation for new stores, upgrades, or migrations.
* Coordinate testing support during cutover, hypercare, and stabilization phases.
