Job Description Role and Responsibilities Candidate would be part of Fixed Income Application Support team, interfacing with Credit Front Office users, notably the portfolio trading algorithm group within Fixed Income Trading.
Key responsibilities: - Respond to production system queries, exchange connectivity issues, and system outages.
- Identify root causes of production issues using languages and protocols like Python, SQL, and FIX, and collaborating closely with support and engineering teams to create solutions.
- Installing, configuring, testing, deploying, and upgrading software on the ION trading platform
- Monitoring and maintaining the production environment, creating metrics and dashboards to oversee platform capacity/load, data quality, and overall system health.
- Developing and maintaining thorough documentation for all support processes, bug and enhancement tracking to ensure knowledge transfer and consistency in service delivery.
- Participating in cross-functional projects aimed at improving stability or enhancing current features or developing new workflows.
Qualifications and Education Requirements 2-5 years of experience in Financial Services Technology. Experience in sell-side Capital Markets and supporting an algo trading desk highly desired.
Preferred Skills - Extensive experience with Python and SQL (highly desirable)
- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows OS
- Excellent communication, time management and project management skills.
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $90,000-$110,000.

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications.
