Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Windows Server Administrator / SME. The primary responsibility will be managing Active Directory domain flips for Windows servers across multiple data centers, ensuring minimal downtime for mission-critical applications. This role requires deep expertise in Windows Server administration, DNS management, and Quest tools for migration and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
Execute Active Directory domain join/unjoin operations for Windows servers during OT migration.
Configure and manage DNS settings to ensure proper name resolution and domain integration.
Utilize Quest migration tools for domain operations and validation.
Validate server readiness and ensure compliance with ITAR standards.
Perform pre-migration assessments and coordinate planned downtime for mission-critical applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to domain changes, DNS resolution, authentication, and connectivity.
Collaborate with Honeywell engineering teams for post-migration functionality checks.
Work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure VM backups and recovery plans are in place before execution.
Document migration steps, DNS changes, Quest tool usage, issues, and resolutions for audit and compliance purposes.

Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration.
Expertise in Windows Server versions 2012, 2016, and 2019.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy management.
Proven experience in domain join/unjoin operations and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Quest migration tools (e.g., Quest Migration Manager).
Familiarity with virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
Ability to work in high-availability environments with mission-critical applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight timelines.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with large-scale server migrations in OT/IT environments.
Knowledge of backup and recovery tools for virtual machines.
Familiarity with ITAR compliance requirements.
Exposure to Kerberos, LDAP, and DNS best practices in enterprise environments.
