Job Title: Windchill PDMLink Developer
Location: Columbus, OH / Minneapolis, MN (Onsite)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Windchill PDMLink Developer to support and enhance PTC Windchill PDMLink (v13) in a regulated medical domain environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end Windchill solution delivery, including configuration, customization, development, testing, and implementation, while working closely with business stakeholders and IT teams.
This role requires strong technical expertise in Windchill architecture, Java-based development, system integrations, and data migration, along with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze, design, configure, develop, test, and implement PTC Windchill PDMLink (v13) solutions

Manage Windchill configurations and customizations following best practices

Design and develop system enhancements and business administration features

Troubleshoot Windchill technical issues and implement corrective actions

Provide technical support, including assistance with upgrades and patches

Act as a technical liaison between business users, PLM delivery teams, and IT

Perform data migrations from legacy or external systems into Windchill
-
Support workflows, lifecycle management, and change management processes

Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and validation activities

Assist IT Project Managers with day-to-day development and delivery tasks

Identify tools, processes, and improvements to ensure stable Windchill operations
Required Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience with PTC Windchill PDMLink
-
Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture and development environment

Experience with:

Windchill Workflows and Lifecycle Management
-
Configuration: Types, Attributes, ACLs, OIRs, Reports
-
Server-side and UI customizations
-
Strong Java and web technologies background
-
Experience working with Oracle Database and SQL
-
Working knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux environments

Experience implementing systems in validated / regulated environments (medical preferred)
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Windchill data migration projects

Experience integrating Windchill with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Knowledge of CAD tools and integrations

Experience with system-to-system integrations

Prior experience in medical, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing environments
