Job Title: Automotive Technician

Expected Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week
Schedule:
Onsite Position
Training Period (First 8 Weeks): 1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Regular Assignment: 2nd Shift, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM
410 Schedule (Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday)
Pay Rate:
$28/hr
Job Description:
We are seeking an Automotive Technician to support vehicle emissions testing and validation activities in a fast-paced research and development environment. This is a hands-on role that combines technical testing with data analysis and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and perform emissions testing on vehicles and components
  • Analyze test data and evaluate results
  • Recommend corrective actions based on findings
  • Follow established testing procedures and quality standards
  • Document test results and maintain accurate records
  • Troubleshoot testing issues and escalate concerns when necessary
  • Collaborate with team leads and engineering personnel to support program objectives
  • Utilize computer systems and testing equipment to manage and execute test activities

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Previous research and development, testing, laboratory, or technical experience preferred
  • Experience with dynamometer testing or lab operations is a plus
  • Familiarity with AVL, Horiba, or Burke Porter equipment is a plus
  • Strong computer skills and technical aptitude
  • Excellent attention to detail and data validation abilities
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
