Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer to support cloud infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications, cloud security, monitoring, and platform reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, infrastructure as code, security scanning, and cloud monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CLI.

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and GitLab runners.

  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon ECR.

  • Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, role-based access, OIDC authentication, Zero Trust, and least-privilege access.

  • Integrate security scanning tools such as GitLab SAST, Secret Detection, and Trivy into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Manage AWS services, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve platform reliability.

  • Implement monitoring, dashboards, and alerting using Datadog and Prometheus.

  • Develop Python and Bash scripts to automate operational tasks and reduce manual effort.

  • Support AWS networking, including VPC, IAM, and secure application connectivity.

  • Manage cloud-based data science platforms and workloads running on Kubernetes and AWS.

  • Implement container image vulnerability scanning and enforce security checks before production deployments.

  • Support workload execution and compute infrastructure using AWS Batch and AWS-hosted HPC clusters.

  • Optimize cloud resource utilization, performance, security, and operational costs.

  • Collaborate with development, data science, and security teams to improve cloud platform operations and deployment processes.


Required Skills

  • Strong experience with AWS Cloud Services

  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform and AWS CloudFormation

  • CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD and GitLab Runners

  • Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes

  • Scripting: Python and Bash

  • Cloud Security: AWS IAM, OIDC, Zero Trust, and least-privilege access

  • Security Tools: GitLab SAST, Secret Detection, Amazon ECR scanning, and Trivy

  • Monitoring and Observability: Datadog and Prometheus
