Production Manager - Blown Film Extrusion

• Champion a zero-incident safety culture, ensuring strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.

• Managethe daily operation oftheblown film extrusiondepartment,ensuringoptimalproduct quality and throughput

• Collaborate with scheduling andoperations planningteams tooptimizeproduction runs, minimize changeover times, and manageinventory effectively

• Monitor daily production reports to track yield, scrap rates, and machine uptime, taking immediate action to address variances.

• Plan and develop systems, procedures, and solutions to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department.

• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards aremaintainedand improved.

• Lead capital projects within the extrusion department.

• Assistin annual budget preparation for the extrusion department and be able to justify the investments being proposed.

• Lead, mentor, and developa team ofsupervisors,team leads and extrusion operators, adhering toestablishedperformance metrics and KPIs

• Identifyskills gaps and oversee technical training programs forsupervisors andoperators

• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages employee engagement and problem-solving at the floor level.

• Otherrelated duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for meeting the goals and objectives of the organization by managing all extrusion employees. This role manages the daily operation of the extrusion department by ensuring safe work practices, achieving product quality and production goals and making sound operational and leadership decisions.

Targeted pay range 90k-120k

• 5 or more years of experience leading manufacturing teams in nonunion plant Experience in GMP/SQF/ISO environments preferred Proven track record leading safe work culture in fast-paced, complex manufacturing environments Solid working knowledge of extrusion processes and related manufacturing.

• Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field
