About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend systems, leading development teams, and working closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality enterprise applications. This role requires strong technical leadership, client interaction, and hands-on backend development experience using C# and .NET technologies.
Key Responsibilities
· Travel to client locations for onsite meetings, requirement gathering, and technical documentation.
· Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions.
· Lead and mentor backend developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
· Develop high-quality, maintainable code using C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework.
· Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
· Develop and optimize relational (SQL Server) and NoSQL databases.
· Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, QA, and Product teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
· Serve as primary technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
· Prepare and maintain system design documents, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides.
· Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and security compliance.
· Participate in CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps processes.
Required Skills
· Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework.
· Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
· Strong expertise in SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, and query optimization.
· Experience with asynchronous programming and dependency injection in .NET.
· Knowledge of middleware architecture in .NET applications.
· Experience working with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
· Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub).
· Strong understanding of backend security best practices.
· Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain experience (Mandatory).
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in enterprise-level insurance applications.
· Prior experience leading backend development teams.
· Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
· Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
· Exposure to performance tuning and system scalability strategies.
· Experience working in hybrid onsite client environments.
