We are seeking a skilled BIM expert to to join our team and lead our CAD, BIM and engineering documentation systems management. We are looking for a team oriented and innovative person with a logical mindset, that is self-confident and forward-thinking, and is experienced in collaborating with the diversity of functions in the data center AEC space.
As the BIM Systems Engineer, you will be the subject matter expert for the Data Center Engineering function; oversee the owner quality review of CAD drawings and BIM models on large, complex projects; provide leadership in documentation-related process development and re-engineering; and develop and maintain our BIM technologies roadmap.
Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields: Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering, Architecture or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience.\n5+ years experience in building-related 3D modeling, performing work on large, complex, MEP intensive projects.\n5+ years experience in BIM administration and tool automation.\n
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.\nExperienced with MEP and/or structural-related BIM modeling.\nStrong familiarity with drafting (AutoCAD) and modeling (Revit, Navisworks and reality capture) applications.\nDetailed knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud.\nExperience with scripting and/or visual programming automation tools (Dynamo and Python).\nProject management and tracking experience.\nAdvanced spreadsheet and/or data base skills for data manipulation, project tracking, and analysis.\nProficiency with Mac, Linux and Windows systems.\nExperienced with Civil3D and ArcGIS integration.\nWillingness to explore and learn new tools and processes, which may require travel to Apple facilities to train and collaborate with cross-functional teams.\nFluency in written and spoken English
