Senior Director, Technology

The Senior Director of Technology for Liquibox North America is responsible for leading the region's technology strategy and technical organization to drive customer value, innovation, and business performance. Reporting to the General Manager, Liquibox North America, this executive leads cross-functional technical teams including Field Service, R&D, Films and Fitments Technology, Equipment Technology, Laboratory Operations, and Account Technical leadership.

Customer-Facing Value
  • Lead customer-facing technical capabilities that enhance product performance, application success, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive innovation and technology solutions that create competitive differentiation in the marketplace.
  • Partner with commercial leadership on strategic accounts, customer growth opportunities, and technical relationship management.
  • Oversee field technical service and equipment support to ensure strong execution and responsiveness.
  • Champion customer-driven innovation across packaging systems, films, fitments, and equipment technologies.

Improving Economics
  • Drive product and technology optimization initiatives focused on cost reduction, simplification, and margin improvement.
  • Improve material performance, equipment reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for standardization and technical process improvement across the business.
  • Ensure technical resources and investments deliver measurable business value and ROI.

Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead and develop a high-performing technical organization across multiple disciplines and locations.
  • Establish a clear technology vision aligned with Liquibox North America business priorities.
  • Foster collaboration across Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Global teams.
  • Build a culture of innovation, accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Prioritize technology initiatives and resource allocation to support growth and profitability objectives.

How are you qualified?
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Packaging, Materials Science, or related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in packaging, manufacturing, engineered products, or related industries.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional technical organizations supporting commercial and operational objectives.
  • Strong background in product development, application engineering, equipment technologies, and customer-facing technical support.
  • Demonstrated success driving innovation, optimization, and business performance improvements.
  • Executive-level leadership, communication, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Experience operating in complex, matrixed, and customer-centric environments.
