Jr. Business Analyst
We are primarily looking for DWH, MDM, pharma domain exp.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to support data and analytics initiatives across the organization. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, data warehouse teams, Master Data Management (MDM) specialists, and Power BI developers to gather requirements, analyze business processes, improve data quality, and deliver actionable reporting solutions.
The ideal candidate will have foundational experience with data warehousing concepts, master data governance processes, and business intelligence reporting using Power BI. This position is well-suited for an early-career professional looking to build expertise in enterprise data management and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders across business and technology teams.
- Develop business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement review sessions.
- Translate business needs into actionable requirements for data and reporting teams.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and solution validation activities.
Data Warehouse Support
- Assist with data warehouse initiatives including data mapping, source-to-target analysis, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with ETL developers and data engineers to understand data flows and transformation logic.
- Analyze source system data and identify data quality issues affecting reporting and analytics.
- Support data validation and reconciliation efforts across multiple systems.
Master Data Management (MDM)
- Assist in maintaining data governance standards and master data processes.
- Support data stewardship activities including customer, product, provider, and account master data management.
- Identify duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent records and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in data quality assessments and root cause analysis.
Power BI Reporting
- Gather reporting and dashboard requirements from business stakeholders.
- Support the creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, reports, KPIs, and scorecards.
- Perform report testing and validation to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Assist users with reporting enhancements and troubleshooting efforts.
- Document report specifications and business definitions for key metrics.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Create and maintain process documentation, data dictionaries, and business glossaries.
- Support change management and training activities for new reporting solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Ensure adherence to data governance and reporting standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 1-3 years of Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related experience.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data integration principles.
- Basic knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance practices.
- Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience documenting business requirements and process workflows.
