Summary

As a Sr. Specialist of Data Engineering - Intelligence Platform, reporting to Assistant Vice President of Product Management, you'll play a critical role in building best-in-class data architectures that power next-generation analytics and AI-driven insights for Financial Market Infrastructures and global banks. You will design scalable data systems, develop robust data models, and collaborate across teams to transform complex data into intelligent, actionable structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data models ensuring quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources, supporting regulatory reporting, customer analytics, and research initiatives.
  • Partner with engineering and analytics teams across the organization to deliver scalable data solutions and platform requirements.
  • Develop advanced analytics capabilities across financial assets and markets, leveraging deep domain expertise.
  • Document data models, ETL processes, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related technical roles.
  • Strong proficiency with dbt and Apache Spark for data transformation and processing.
  • Advanced programming skills in Python with experience building production-grade data systems.
  • Proven data modeling expertise including data vault, dimensional modeling, and warehouse design.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouses and columnar databases such as Redshift or Databricks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively across global, matrixed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS technologies including S3, Redshift, and RDS.
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
  • Exposure to data governance platforms like Monte Carlo or Atlan.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies including Hadoop, Kafka, Delta Lake, or Iceberg.
  • Experience working with trading data or systems such as Calypso.

This position will be located in Philidelpha, PA and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
