This is an established precision manufacturer serving the aerospace industry, committed to investing in advanced technology, continuous improvement, and employee development. The CNC Programmer will develop, test, and optimize CNC machining programs used to manufacture precision components, working closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure efficient manufacturing processes, accurate programming, and continuous process improvements.

Compensation
$100,000 to $130,000 per year.
What You\'ll Do
This role creates and optimizes CNC programs for milling operations, programs custom components and tooling for production applications, and develops machining methods and tooling strategies. It includes setting up and supporting CNC milling machines during production, testing, troubleshooting, and validating CNC programs on production equipment, and modifying programs to reflect engineering changes and product revisions.
The position collaborates with engineering and production teams to improve machining efficiency, maintains programming documentation and revision control, and supports process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve quality. It also ensures all programs meet safety, quality, and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate\'s degree preferred, in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology
- Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience
- Strong experience programming CNC milling machines
- Proficiency with CAD software and CNC programming
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- CATIA experience
- Epicor ERP experience
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Experience with complex precision machined components
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
