EV Electric Drive Systems consultant

Remote role

3+Month Project

Role Description

This a consulting role that can be structured as equity compensation or cash compensation or a hybrid. EIC needs expertise in electric drive system design, control, and selection. 10-20 hours per week on average with significant front loaded activity. This position could lead to employment in the future.

Qualifications

Electrical or other applicable engineering degree.
Experience with electric motor design and control, specifically traction motors, EV motors or other speed and torque controllable drivers.
Inverter control of motors specific experience.
Supply base familiarity in motors and controls.
Strong communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with multi-national teams.

Location Marysville, OHIO

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and modify Yaskawa robot programs based on project specs.

Diagnose and troubleshoot robotic issues.

Collaborate with engineering and production for system integration.

Perform system testing and validation.

Provide technical support and training to team members.

Maintain documentation for robotic systems and programming changes.
