Salary Range
$75,000.00 - $112,500.00
Overview
Administer and maintain the Computer Science Zoo, a complex multi node Linux server environment, along with its associated instructional and research workstations. Diagnose and resolve advanced Linux server and workstation issues, including those involving Ansible automation, configuration management, and system deployment. Oversee and support the operation of a small data center located in Becton and the Greenberg Concourse, ensuring reliable infrastructure for engineering courses and research activities.Provide expert level support for Linux systems, including performance tuning, security hardening, system monitoring, and configuration management. Implement and document best practice workflows, procedures, and technical standards to ensure reliability, continuity, and operational excellence across supported environments. Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and technical staff to understand and meet specialized computing needs within engineering and computer science.

Required Education and Experience
