job summary:
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with a deep background in Payment Systems and POS (Hardware + Software) environments to join our client's dynamic team. This role is a perfect fit for a process-driven professional who excels at troubleshooting API integrations and translating complex business requests into scalable automated systems. You will serve as the bridge between user needs and technical execution, designing system objectives that drive operational excellence.

responsibilities:
-Analyze business requests to be solved with automated systems.
-Formulate and design automated systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
-Provide expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that meet user requirements and are within stated sizing estimates.
-Configure system settings and options; plan and execute business design, assist in integration and acceptance testing, where necessary; and create specifications for system to meet business requirements.
-Include analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications
qualifications:
Agile/Scrum Experience - Strong foundational experience in agile environments.
* Integration & API Knowledge - Ability to troubleshoot and work effectively with integrations (critical from team perspective).
* Payment/Point-of-Sale (POS) Background - Familiarity with payment processing or POS environments (hardware + software)
* Candidates with both hardware and software
experience are prioritized.
* Certified in Business Analyst, Product Management, etc for well accredited institution or
**Must work onsite 3x a week**
* BA or BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar degrees
