Oracle Fusion ERP Deployment Lead SCM (BIOS Program)
Location: Cleveland, OH (Onsite strongly preferred)
Duration: 12 18 Months Contract
About the Program
BIOS is the internal codename for a large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP transformation program. This initiative supports the North America rollout (target August go-live) and future global phases.
The program includes multiple functional tracks:
- Production
- Purchasing
- Order Management
- PMI
- STP & OTI
Additionally, ~56+ boundary systems integrate into the ERP ecosystem.
This is strictly an Oracle Fusion ERP role (NOT HCM).
Position Overview
The Oracle Fusion ERP Deployment Lead will serve as the central execution leader responsible for deployment readiness, cross-track coordination, milestone alignment, and go-live execution.
This is:
- 80 90% Functional Leadership
- 10 20% Light Technical (SQL + integration awareness only)
- NOT a development or configuration-heavy role
The candidate will act as the central orchestrator between Deployment, Solutions, Deloitte offshore teams, and functional track leads.
Key Responsibilities
Deployment & Functional Leadership (Primary Focus)
- Drive end-to-end Oracle Fusion ERP deployment readiness.
- Coordinate all workstreams (Production, Purchasing, OM, PMI, STP/OTI).
- Lead UAT planning, execution, and defect triage.
- Manage mock cycles and cutover activities.
- Coordinate user access provisioning and environment readiness.
- Oversee hypercare planning and post-go-live stabilization.
- Track milestone gates and readiness checkpoints.
- Maintain alignment across 56+ integrated boundary systems.
- Serve as escalation point for cross-functional deployment issues.
- Step in to support track leads as needed.
Light Technical Responsibilities (10 20%)
- Run basic SQL queries for validation and issue investigation.
- Understand integration architecture conceptually.
- Coordinate issue triage between technical and functional teams.
- Support environment/release management tracking.
No hands-on OIC development.
No configuration build responsibility.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of ERP experience.
- Strong Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP deployment experience.
- Proven leadership in large-scale, multi-track ERP rollouts.
- Experience managing:
- UAT cycles
- Mock conversions
- Cutover planning
- Hypercare support
- Experience coordinating large system integrations.
- Ability to work with offshore teams (Deloitte experience preferred).
- Strong stakeholder communication skills.
- Light SQL capability.
Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing or Supply Chain ERP background.
- Experience in complex global ERP rollouts.
- Strong environment/release management exposure.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced transformation programs.
