  • Configure, operate, and troubleshoot HIL/SIL validation environments.
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts, data collection tools, and validation reports.
  • Analyze defects, perform root cause investigations, and support software and hardware integration testing.
  • Collaborate with software, controls, systems, and validation engineers to resolve technical issues.
  • Support test execution, debugging, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills
  • Experience with embedded software validation, verification, or testing.
  • Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Python scripting or test automation experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of C or C++.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and support hardware troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with CAN/J1939 communication protocols and diagnostic tools.

Preferred Skills
  • HIL or SIL testing experience.
  • Experience with dSPACE or Vector tools (CANoe/CANalyzer).
  • Embedded controls or ECU validation experience.
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks and software development lifecycle practices.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience (applicable internships considered).

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with embedded controls, automation, and validation technologies while working on complex systems in a highly collaborative engineering environment.
