Principal Oracle PL/SQL Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Principal Oracle PL/SQL Developer in Jersey City, NJ.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 8+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle PL/SQL developer with highly sensitive, large, data sets
* 5+ years of working in financial industry is a plus
* Good experience with performance tuning of stored procedures and queries
* Has experience in Linux environment and knows basic Unix commands
* Experience working with team in Agile methodology
* Experience with database modeling
* Knows ETL processes to load large volumes of data at speed, e.g. SQL Loader, etc.
* Strong data analysis skills, design, and coding experience in Financial Industry preferably in Capital Markets/ Securities Finance
* Understand glossaries and terminologies in financial industry
* Strong RDBMS skills - SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, user privileges, object privileges, etc.
* Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and design skills with a desire to continually learn and grow in a team-based environment
* Good communication skills to both technology folks and business partners
* Motivated and able to deliver end-to-end solutions
* Quick learner, adaptable, has the right attitude to work across teams to find and deploy
* Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams
* AWS Cloud experience is a plus
* Knowledge of Core Java, Python, scheduling tool like Control-M is nice to have

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
