Senior Full Stack .NET Developer (Enterprise Applications)

StaffRight Associates is seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer for a key client in Toronto, Canada. This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire role with a hybrid work structure. The position is for a direct T4 employee of the client; please note that C2C or subcontracting engagements are not permitted.

Pay Range:$60-$75/hr CAD

The Role

We are looking for a seasoned engineer to architect, develop, and maintain high-performance, data-centric applications that drive essential business functions. This role is designed for a developer who excels in large-scale corporate environments and is equally comfortable building robust backend services as they are crafting modern, responsive user interfaces.

Primary Responsibilities

Core Development & Architecture

• Full Stack Engineering: Create and manage end-to-end applications utilizing C# and modern .NET frameworks (Core / .NET 8+).

• API Craftsmanship: Build and scale secure RESTful APIs and backend services that facilitate seamless system communication.

• Front-End Innovation: Develop dynamic, responsive interfaces using modern frameworks such as Angular or React.

• Database Design: Architect and fine-tune database schemas and transactional workflows to ensure high reliability and speed.

Enterprise Collaboration

• Strategic Alignment: Work alongside architects, product owners, and data scientists to deliver solutions that meet enterprise standards.

• Quality & Standards: Participate in design reviews and code audits to ensure compliance with security protocols and architectural best practices.

• System Stability: Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, optimizing systems for maximum uptime and performance.

DevOps & Growth

• Modern Workflow: Enhance development standards through active participation in CI/CD pipeline management and DevOps optimization.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of technical trends to recommend tooling upgrades and process efficiencies.

Required Qualifications

Technical Expertise

• Experience: 5+ years of full stack development within large, multi-stakeholder enterprise settings.

• Backend: Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET Core / .NET 8+.

• Front-End: Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like Angular.

• Data Mastery: Strong background in SQL Server or Postgres, including data modeling and query optimization.

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with the AWS cloud platform and Entity Framework (or similar ORMs).

Professional Competencies

• API Design: Proven track record of designing and integrating RESTful services.

• Version Control: Proficiency in Git-based workflows and collaborative coding.

• DevOps Knowledge: Experience with automation pipelines and data integration platforms.
