Role: Sr Backend Software Engineer
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain backend services for internal engineering applications.
• Develop APIs connecting front-end applications, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Create reusable microservices for common capabilities.
• Integrate enterprise systems, data platforms, monitoring platforms, and other engineering data sources.
• Develop automation for workflows, data movement, and system-to-system interactions.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access.
• Improve backend scalability, reliability, monitoring, and performance.
• Support database design and query optimization where needed.
• Partner with UI, database, analytics, and low-code platform engineers.
• Help build API/MCP interfaces so engineering data can support both traditional applications and agent-based workflows.
