Location: Remote (Must live near a major airport)
Travel: Up to 70 percent (U.S.-based)
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $28 to $40 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, customer-focused Field Service Technician to join a growing service team. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites across the U.S., ensuring peak performance and high customer satisfaction.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined technician who enjoys travel and is eager to grow their technical skill set. The team is willing to train the right candidate in PLC programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission equipment at customer locations
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Diagnose issues and repair or replace faulty components
- Provide on-site technical support and product training to customers
- Document service visits, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to resolve issues and improve service outcomes
Travel Schedule:
The role aims to maintain a 1 week traveling / 1 week in-plant rotation when possible. Larger projects may require travel for up to 3 consecutive weeks, with advance notice provided.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Field Service Technician or similar technical role
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Solid knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Experience with PLC and electrical systems is a plus
- Familiarity with Allen-Bradley products is preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel extensively
