Observability Engineer(remote, no third party, only W2)

Job Description:

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk and/or Dynatrace (both preferred)
• Strong experience with:
• SPL (Search Processing Language)
• Log parsing, field extraction, and data normalization
• Solid understanding of observability principles (metrics, logs, traces)
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures
• Knowledge of performance monitoring and troubleshooting techniques
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integration patterns
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dynatrace Davis AI for anomaly detection and root cause analysis
• Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (SIEM)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Kubernetes and container observability experience
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform or similar)
