Duration : 18 Months

We are seeking a Linux Developer (not an Administrator) to support a complex Treasury framework built on Linux that orchestrates batch jobs. This environment requires a developer capable of performing extensive updates and enhancements to an existing, highly complex orchestration framework.

Project & Team Details

• Line of Business: GTS – Treasury 
• Function: L3 Production Support for business-critical applications 
• Team Size: ~20 (onshore and offshore mix) 
• Engagement Type: Ongoing need (not project-based) 
• Duration: 18 months (potential contract-to-hire) 
• Reason for Opening: Backfill 

Key Responsibilities

L3 Production Support (25%)

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; identify root causes 
• Provide workaround solutions as needed 
• Communicate issues, root causes, and resolutions clearly 
• Collaborate with L1/L2 support and cross-functional teams 

Development & Enhancements (75%)

• Analyze requirements and design/implement solutions 
• Enhance and maintain ETL/data frameworks 
• Work with Hadoop, Informatica, PL/SQL, and Linux scripting 
• Identify gaps and recommend process/tool improvements 
• Lead initiatives and guide team members as needed 

Required Skills & Experience

• 9–10+ years of experience in Hadoop, Linux, and PL/SQL
• Strong ETL and data warehousing experience 
• Experience with Big Data technologies (HDFS, Spark, Hive, Impala, etc.) and/or Informatica PowerCenter
• Solid Oracle/SQL expertise 
• Linux scripting (shell scripting) proficiency 
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills 
• Experience with data movement and transformation technologies 

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Python development 
• AutoSys job scheduling 
• Prior experience in production support environments 

Profile Targeting

• Job Titles: ETL Developer, Hadoop Developer (max 2–3 target profiles) 
• Must have both development experience and production support exposure
• No specific industry experience required
