The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is sourcing for a premier enterprise organization to identify a visionary technical leader for a 6-month contract-to-hire engagement. This position is fully remote within the United States and structured as a W2 arrangement only. In this critical role, you will redefine the protective landscape of modern digital assets, blending advanced defensive methodologies with emerging cognitive computing environments.

This is an elite opportunity to shape long-term security postures, construct resilient system frameworks, and guide an innovative partner through complex technical transformations.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect comprehensive cybersecurity strategies spanning distributed cloud networks, co-located data centers, and advanced computational platforms using risk-aware, secure-by-design methodologies.

  • Champion the deployment of secure artificial intelligence frameworks within defensive operations, guaranteeing robust model protection, regulatory compliance, and ethical system governance.

  • Codify global protection guidelines, governance structures, and control mechanics covering identity lifecycles, data boundaries, and continuous compliance verification.

  • Maximize environmental threat visibility by engineering high-fidelity monitoring and telemetry systems across both traditional and intelligence-driven networks.

  • Synthesize present and future technological states alongside senior stakeholders, mapping clear evolutionary trajectories that align with industry advancements.

  • Convert long-term infrastructure visions into actionable engineering patterns, standards, and practical reference playbooks for deployment teams.

  • Advise cross-functional teams spanning engineering, risk mitigation, data science, and governance to elevate operational velocity and systemic resilience.

  • Deploy deep structural acumen across essential defensive vectors to construct foundational, highly scalable enterprise infrastructure frameworks.

  • Evaluate disruptive industry shifts and provide evidence-based investment recommendations to executive leadership regarding strategic tradeoffs.

  • Formulate reusable blueprints and reference documentation to ensure consistent, highly compliant solution delivery across engineering departments.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrate 7+ years of sophisticated background designing applications alongside extensive expertise in Cybersecurity Architecture and Software Architecture Principles.

  • Possess a proven track record establishing Enterprise Security Standards, Governance Frameworks, and control mechanisms across hybrid landscapes.

  • Exhibit deep technical mastery within Identity And Access Management, Cloud Security, Network Security, Application Security, Security Information And Event Management, and Security Orchestration Automation And Response platforms.

  • Utilise formal Architectural Frameworks and Enterprise Architecture Tools to successfully guide strategic technology initiatives.

  • Communicate eloquently with executive leadership, translating highly intricate technical concepts into clear, actionable roadmaps.

  • Apply advanced knowledge of Artificial Intelligence Security and Machine Learning Security paradigms, including model protection, threat detection, and ethical governance.

  • Leverage hands-on experience with modern hyperscalers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform using Secure Cloud Architecture Patterns.

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or command an equivalent background combining education and experience totaling 11+ years.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Hourly Rate: $75.00 - $100.00 / hour
