Lab Technician
Location: Creve Coeur, MO (On-site)
About the Role
We are seeking an entry-level Lab Technician to support routine analytical testing in a fast-paced, 24/7 production laboratory. This role is critical to supporting quality control, process improvement, and product development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory testing following established procedures and protocols
- Prepare solutions, clean glassware, and manage lab waste
- Operate and monitor lab instruments (including HPLC when applicable)
- Record, calculate, and report test results accurately
- Review data and communicate any issues or discrepancies to the team
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintain lab organization, safety, and inventory of supplies
- Use systems such as LIMS and other lab software for data entry and tracking
- Support continuous improvement efforts and team productivity
Requirements
- High school diploma + at least 1 year of lab experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Basic troubleshooting skills with lab equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of laboratory experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Experience with HPLC and/ instrumentation
- Familiarity with lab data systems (LIMS or similar)
