Job Description:

Our client is seeking to establish a consultant resources to support the Firearms Information Technology Systems Modernization (FITSM) project. The selected team will perform critical Data Preparation activities to support the System Integrator’s modernization efforts. This includes preparing, validating, transforming, and ensuring the integrity of data required for successful system implementation and integration.

In addition, the client is seeking a highly experienced Back End Web Developer / Engineer with 10+ years of experience. This resource will focus on backend development of the web application, specifically integrating and enhancing the functionality of existing Java- and Angular-based applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable backend services that fully support the new user interface and foundational system capabilities. The role requires strong expertise in backend architecture, API development, system integration, and performance optimization to ensure reliability and scalability of the modernized platform.

MQ 1 Minimum Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or engineering field from a recognized college or university.

In Additional: Master’s degree or doctorate in an IT-related or Engineering field from a recognized college or university.

MQ 2 Minimum Qualification

Ten (10) years of experience in back-end web applications, open-source web programming languages and frameworks, emerging technologies and trends, and best development practices.

MQ 3 Minimum Qualification

Ten (10) years of experience in the development of web applications utilizing Java/Spring Boot.

MQ 4 Minimum Qualification

Ten (10) years of software engineering experience developing and maintaining applications that use and Oracle database as the backend.
