Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support business intelligence reporting solutions and dashboards
- Translate business requirements into technical reporting and visualization deliverables
- Build and optimize SQL queries, reporting datasets, and data models
- Develop executive and operational dashboards using Power BI and related reporting tools
- Analyze healthcare operational and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Support finance, operational, and revenue cycle reporting initiatives
- Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across reporting solutions
- Troubleshoot reporting, dashboard, and data quality issues
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams
- Support recurring operational reporting and ad hoc analytics requests
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Analytics, or Data Development
- Healthcare industry experience required
- Advanced SQL development experience
- Experience building reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using Power BI or similar BI platforms
- Experience working with enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and large datasets
- Strong understanding of reporting architecture, data modeling, and dashboard development
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting healthcare finance, FP&A, operational analytics, or revenue cycle functions
- Experience with healthcare billing, claims, reimbursement, or revenue cycle reporting
- Experience with healthcare EMR reporting environments and associated data structures
- Tableau experience
- Experience developing executive dashboards and KPI reporting
- Understanding of healthcare financial and operational performance metrics, including:
- Revenue and expense analysis
- Margin reporting
- Payor mix
- Patient mix
- Service line performance
- Budgeting and forecasting
