PeopleSoft Technical Consultant
Introduction
This position is for a PeopleSoft Technical Consultant who will be responsible for a variety of tasks including development, support, maintenance, integration, reports, queries, analytics, workflow, defects, performance, upgrades, projects, business processes, requirements, technical design, database design, Oracle, change control, PeopleSoft, and PeopleSoft tools.
Responsibilities
The PeopleSoft Technical Consultant will be responsible for:
- Developing and customizing PeopleSoft applications to meet business requirements
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for PeopleSoft applications
- Performing regular maintenance and updates to PeopleSoft systems
- Integrating PeopleSoft applications with other systems and databases
- Creating and running reports and queries to extract data from PeopleSoft databases
- Analyzing workflows and business processes to optimize PeopleSoft functionality
- Identifying and resolving defects and performance issues in PeopleSoft applications
- Managing upgrades and new projects related to PeopleSoft systems
- Gathering and documenting requirements for PeopleSoft projects
- Designing technical solutions and enhancements using PeopleSoft tools
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and experiences:
- Experience with PeopleSoft development, support, and maintenance
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft integration and workflow processes
- Proficiency in creating reports and queries in PeopleSoft
- Ability to analyze and optimize business processes in PeopleSoft
- Experience with Oracle databases and database design
- Understanding of change control processes in PeopleSoft environments
- Strong technical design skills for implementing PeopleSoft solutions
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft tools and technologies
