Overview:

TalentFish is casting a line for a Senior Engineer, Cybersecurity Identity & Access Management. This is a full-time, remote role. The Senior IAM Engineer will be responsible to design, implement, and support SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) solutions that strengthen identity governance, access controls, and compliance across enterprise systems and applications.

What You ll Bring (Ideal Experience)

• Strong understanding of identity governance concepts including joiner/mover/leaver processes, birthright access, access reviews, policy violations, and role-based access control.
• Hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud or IdentityNow, including identity cubes, entitlements, policies, roles, and certifications.
• Experience integrating SailPoint with HR systems such as Workday and directories including Active Directory or LDAP.
• Ability to configure application connectors such as SCIM, JDBC, AD, REST, and other standard integration methods.
• Familiarity with SailPoint rule development using BeanShell or Java, along with transforms and workflow automation.
• Experience designing and executing access certification campaigns to support regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
• Understanding of identity risk scoring, policy violation remediation, and reporting and dashboard capabilities.
• Knowledge of secure architecture principles and integration with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes including incident, problem, change, and release management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6 + years of experience in information security, identity governance, or IAM engineering.
• Relevant certifications such as SailPoint IdentityNow or ISC Certified Implementation Engineer are a PLUS.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical identity governance concepts into business terms.

What You'll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)

• Design, implement, and maintain SailPoint Identity Security Cloud to support identity lifecycle management, access certifications, policy enforcement, and governance reporting.
• Configure and customize SailPoint connectors, rules, transforms, and workflows to meet business and compliance requirements.
• Integrate SailPoint with enterprise systems including Active Directory, Workday, Entra ID, and other business-critical applications.
• Partner with security, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define use cases, and implement identity governance processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to access provisioning, entitlements, policy violations, and identity synchronization.
• Implement and enforce security policies and governance controls to reduce identity-related risk.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and business stakeholders on SailPoint-related topics.
• Communicate risks, system limitations, and improvement opportunities proactively, with a focus on solutions .

Compensation and Employment

This role requires authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.

The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for a discretionary bonus plan and comprehensive employee benefits. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
