ML Palantir Data/FDE Engineer

Introduction:

Data/FDE engineer who builds pipelines, models, and LLM layers on an enterprise platform. This role involves being a Forward Deployed Engineer embedded in the business, responsible for finding the problem, designing the system, writing the code, putting it in front of users, and proving its value in numbers.

Responsibilities:

• Build flexible solutions to various problems such as apps, algorithms, AI agents, or new systems
• Utilize Palantir Foundry/AIP experience including Ontology, Pipeline Builder, AIP Logic, Functions in TypeScript
• Work with agent frameworks and LLM ops like LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, and vector databases
• Perform forecasting and statistical modeling on commercial data including regression, seasonality, and backtesting
• Implement MLOps practices using tools like MLflow, Airflow, and model monitoring
• Apply domain knowledge in consumer products, retail, e-commerce, or supply chain
• Bring prior experience in forward-deployed roles, startup founding, or early-stage product development
• Demonstrate agile delivery leadership through methodologies like Scrum, SAFe, and product ownership
