LOCATION: Full-time onsite in Chantilly, VA

We're looking for an Applications Developer with required Android experience who can hit the door running and immediately contribute to a highly dynamic development environment. You'll build cross-platform Android/iOS applications using React, working confidently with Visual Studio Code, Android Studio, Xcode, Node.js, and JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement: Android experience

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have
the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:
  • Ability to develop Android/iOS mobile applications using React including proficiency with Visual Studio Code, Android Studio, Xcode, Nodejs, and Javascript.
  • Developing Windows and Linux application releases using the Electron framework.
  • Strong knowledge of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) applications and services
  • Working with small teams to manage software development activities.
  • Working with customers to define functional requirements, concept of operations, and UI/UX design.
  • Managing iterative software development releases.
  • Tracking development sprints using JIRA.
  • Managing source code in Github and Gitlab.
  • Providing technical support and training to a broad client base.
  • Understanding emerging technical trends.
  • Software engineering and development.
  • Supporting technical operations.

Highly Desired Qualifications

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:
  • Documenting process and procedures.
  • Tool idea conceptualization and requirements design.
  • Working with Windows, UNIX, and Linux platforms.
  • Advanced degree in Software Engineering or similar.
