Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an
Associate or Mid-Level Electrical Design/Avionics Engineer to join our team in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position will involve working on a variety of tanker and commercial derivative aircraft. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize electrical and avionics systems expertise to make an immediate and long-lasting impact on USAF's large aircraft fleets.
Position Responsibilities:- Focus on electrical design, simulation, verification, and validation testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers and customers
- Keeping current on related industry best practices and technological advancements
- Lead product development cycles
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including;
Associate or Mid-Level Electrical Design/Avionics EngineerBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- 2 or more years' related work experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
- Experience using Electrical Design Automation (EDA) Tools such as Mentor Graphics, Altium, PSPICE
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- 2+ years of design experience and knowledge of Printed Wiring Boards (PWB), circuit card assemblies, rigid flex board, or harness
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting aircraft systems in maintenance or operational environments
- 1+ years of experience with avionics architecture design
