Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Developer to support and enhance Maximo Asset Management solutions for a leading utility client. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Maximo development, customization, integrations, and inventory/procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement IBM Maximo Asset Management solutions
• Participate in the full software lifecycle including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment
• Customize Maximo using Automation Scripts, Java, MBO Framework, Application Designer, and Database Configuration
• Develop and enhance processes related to:
  • Material re-ordering
  • Inventory transfers (T&D environments preferred)
  • Purchase Orders and PO Receipts
  • Repair and maintenance workflows
  • Dock receipt processes
• Build and support Maximo integrations using REST APIs, MIF, enterprise services, and publish channels
• Work closely with business stakeholders and global teams via calls and web meetings
• Ensure solutions follow industry best practices and continuous improvement standards
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
• Support upgrades, enhancements, and production issues

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management
• Strong experience with Maximo 7.x (7.5 / 7.6 preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Inventory, Purchasing, Assets, and Work Order modules
• Experience with Automation Scripting, Java, and Maximo integrations
• Strong understanding of Maximo data model and workflows
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have

• Utility or Energy domain experience
• Experience with T&D inventory processes
• Knowledge of MAS 8.x
• BIRT reporting experience
