Job Title: Maximo Developer

Location: Houston, TX (Remote)
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Developer to support and enhance Maximo Asset Management solutions for a leading utility client. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Maximo development, customization, integrations, and inventory/procurement processes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement IBM Maximo Asset Management solutions
Participate in the full software lifecycle including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment
Customize Maximo using Automation Scripts, Java, MBO Framework, Application Designer, and Database Configuration
Develop and enhance processes related to:
- Material re-ordering
- Inventory transfers (T&D environments preferred)
- Purchase Orders and PO Receipts
- Repair and maintenance workflows
- Dock receipt processes
Build and support Maximo integrations using REST APIs, MIF, enterprise services, and publish channels
Work closely with business stakeholders and global teams via calls and web meetings
Ensure solutions follow industry best practices and continuous improvement standards
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
Support upgrades, enhancements, and production issues

Required Skills

8+ years of experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management
Strong experience with Maximo 7.x (7.5 / 7.6 preferred)
Hands-on experience with Inventory, Purchasing, Assets, and Work Order modules
Experience with Automation Scripting, Java, and Maximo integrations
Strong understanding of Maximo data model and workflows
Experience working directly with business stakeholders
Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have

Utility or Energy domain experience
Experience with T&D inventory processes
Knowledge of MAS 8.x
BIRT reporting experience
