Neos is Seeking a Sr. PeopleSoft Financials Developer for a contract role for with our client in Austin, TX.
***REMOTE - ONLY CANDIDATES CURRENTLY RESIDING IN TEXAS WILL BE CONSIDERED***
The working position is currently Telework. 4601 W. Guadalupe Street, Austin, TX 78701. This is currently a remote position; if it should become hybrid, on-site days will be negotiated.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
8 years or more of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies the programming systems including encoding, testing, and debugging to support an organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Ensures that software can be completely integrated into the ERP system. Coordinates software integration and maintains technical documentation.
The agency is seeking a skilled PeopleSoft Financials developer for a critical migration project. This role's primary responsibilities include analyzing the legacy system built on the .NET framework, reverse-engineering business logic, and extracting critical data, as well as standard PeopleSoft development.
The qualified candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to document and explain the legacy logic to the project team and stakeholders.
Other duties include standard SDLC tasks and other project tasks as needed. Depending on the project phase, some off-hours may be required.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central
Successful candidate expected to be renewed for FY'27.
This is currently a remote position; if it should become hybrid, on-site days will be negotiated.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
8 years Required (at least 2 years) Development experience with PeopleTools
8 years Required (at least 2 years) Experience working with PeopleTools 8.59 or higher
8 years Required (at least 2 years) Experience with an advanced Oracle database
8 years Required Ability to read and interpret .NET code (C#, VB.NET) and SQL Server stored procedures.
8 years Required (at least 2 years) Legacy to PeopleSoft complex data migrations
4 years Preferred Experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government)
2 years Preferred Experience working with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials
2 years Preferred Experience with Jira
1 year Preferred Experience working with the Scrum framework
