Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer (React / Next.js)

We are seeking two Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developers with strong hands-on experience in React and Next.js to join a highly collaborative engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in modern JavaScript frameworks, experience designing scalable applications, and the ability to solve complex business problems. Insurance domain experience is a major plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform code reviews while enforcing best practices and architectural standards (25%)
• Design and implement scalable software engineering patterns (25%)
• Solve complex business and technical challenges using modern technologies (35%)
• Create system documentation and mentor junior engineers (10%)
• Participate in recruiting efforts, including technical screenings and assessments (5%)
• Promote innovation and challenge existing technical norms
• Identify and reduce technical debt in code and processes
• Ensure high standards for security, performance, and observability
• Maintain and improve engineering metrics and delivery efficiency
• Partner with business and subsidiary teams to define future application roadmaps
• Provide occasional on-call production support

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Java or object-oriented programming
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with React
• 5+ years of experience with Next.js
• 5+ years working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• 5+ years of experience integrating systems via APIs
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance domain experience (highly preferred)
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical discussions
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Education

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
• Equivalent experience will be considered
