We are actively hiring dependable, experienced low-voltage technicians to support high-profile commercial and municipal projects across the tri-county area-including school systems, county facilities, and a large, multi-phase deployment at Charleston International Airport.

What You'll Be Doing

This role focuses on the installation, service, and troubleshooting of low-voltage and electronic security systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Installing and servicing access control systems and electrified door hardware
• Mounting and configuring IP and analog camera systems
• Pulling, terminating, and testing Cat5/Cat6 and fiber cabling
• Installing wireless access points and network-connected security devices
• Working with field hardware such as readers, sensors, door operators, panic/crash bars, and maglocks
• Performing system upgrades, testing, and general troubleshooting

You'll often work independently but will also collaborate closely with a strong service team that takes professionalism seriously.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and clean driving record (MVR)
• At least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience
• (Low-voltage cabling, access control installs, electrical apprentice work, or commercial systems experience all apply)
• Stable work history-we value technicians who are career-focused
• Comfortable using hand and power tools, ladders, and lifts
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

Projects & Schedule

Work is based throughout the Charleston metro area, supporting:

• County government facilities
• K-12 school security modernization projects
• A major long-term airport security initiative

Typical schedule is 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM-5:30 PM). Occasional Fridays may be required; weekends are rare. Technicians provide basic hand tools-specialty tools and PPE are supplied by the company.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
