Product Strategy & Roadmap
Define and own the OMS product vision, roadmap, and backlog aligned with business objectives
Identify opportunities to enhance order lifecycle efficiency, scalability, and customer experience
Prioritize features across:
Order capture, orchestration, sourcing
Fulfillment, returns, cancellations
2. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with business teams (Supply Chain, Store Ops, eCommerce, Customer Service, Finance) to gather requirements
Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and QA teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
Act as the primary product owner for OMS decisions, trade-offs, and prioritization
Define detailed user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria
Lead Agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, release planning)
Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of OMS enhancements and integrations
4. OMS Platform Management
Drive implementation and adoption of IBM Sterling OMS modules, including:
Order lifecycle (capture fulfillment invoicing)
Inventory visibility and sourcing
Payments, returns, and logistics
Manage integrations with:
ERP, WMS, TMS
eCommerce platforms, POS, CRM systems
5. Omnichannel & Retail Capabilities
Enable and optimize omnichannel use cases:
BOPIS (Buy Online Pickup In Store)
Ship-from-store, ship-to-home, drop-ship
Drive seamless customer experience across channels
6. Performance & Continuous Improvement
Monitor KPIs such as:
Order cycle time
Fulfillment accuracy
SLA adherence
Identify root causes of operational issues and drive improvements
