Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in automation and control systems, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Production and Automation teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Mebane, North Carolina
Pay Range:$58 Hourly
What\'s the Job?
\t- Update, troubleshoot, and maintain plant and assembly cell PLC programs, HMI, and Yaskawa robot programming. \t
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement automation projects and improve assembly cell efficiency or throughput. \t
- Verify new or rebuilt equipment to ensure compliance with client requirements before production starts. \t
- Develop engineering solutions to eliminate repetitive equipment or process failures. \t
- Provide hands-on support for electrical troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and process improvements.
What\'s Needed?
\t- Minimum of an Associate\'s degree with 5 years of relevant experience in controls engineering. \t
- Proficiency with Allen-Bradley software, PLC programming, and troubleshooting Yaskawa/Motoman robots. \t
- Experience with electrical schematics, digital oscilloscopes, and power/control circuits up to 480 VAC. \t
- Strong knowledge of Rockwell Software (RSLogix, RSLinx, FactoryTalkView) and familiarity with Siemens software is a plus. \t
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
