Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold medallion data layers using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, notebooks, and Dataflow Gen2.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and transformation processes using SQL, Spark, and PySpark to support enterprise data products.
- Implement data security and access controls, including row-level and object-level security, semantic model permissions, and report access.
- Build and validate data solutions through proof-of-concept implementations while collaborating with stakeholders and transferring technical knowledge to client teams.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
6–9+ years of experience in data engineering, including advanced hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, cloud data platforms, SQL, Spark/PySpark, and enterprise data pipelines.

Technical Skills
|
Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, OneLake, SQL, Spark/PySpark, Fabric Notebooks, Dataflow Gen2, Power BI/DAX

Business / Domain Skills
|
Data Engineering, Medallion Architecture, Data Security and Access Control, Data Product Development, Data Governance, Client-Facing Technical Delivery

Communication
|
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, Delta Lake, or other modern lakehouse technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric environment monitoring, observability, pipeline health, and data-quality validation.
- Microsoft Fabric certification such as DP-600 or DP-700 and experience with manufacturing, supply-chain, or industrial data.
