Job Title: Packaging Technician I

Job Type: Contract

Pay Range: $15.00hr - $20.00hr

Job Overview:

Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures to operate packaging equipment. Assists during set up of packaging equipment and maintains all waste materials in proper satellite storage bins. Assists in completing required documentation, effectively communicates process or equipment needs, and performs data entry including recording product packaging information, downtime, and standard production yields. Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment, as well as facilities and equipment as required by Standard Operating Procedures.

• Assists during set up of Packaging equipment.
• Maintains all waste materials in the proper satellite storage bins.
• Assists in completing all documentation required.
• Observes, challenges, advises, and supports teammates to adhere to policies and/or procedures.
• Effectively communicates process and/or equipment needs.
• Responsible for data entry which includes recording product packaging information, downtime, and standard production yields.
• Maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment.
• Maintains facilities and equipment as required by Standard Operating Procedures.

Skills:

• Manufacturing Production Experience.

Education:

• High School Diploma / GED.
