Role Overview

We re looking for a Principal AI Engineer to design and build multi-agent AI systems powered by Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). This role focuses on architecting scalable, production-grade LLM solutions with strong emphasis on agent orchestration, prompt frameworks, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and develop multi-agent AI systems for complex workflows and decision-making
Design, build, and optimize RAG pipelines (retrieval, reranking, context management)
Develop and standardize prompt engineering frameworks, guardrails, and evaluation suites
Fine-tune and evaluate LLMs for domain-specific use cases (reasoning, summarization, etc.)
Build and scale ML services and APIs in distributed environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into production systems
Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
Troubleshoot and optimize AI applications in monorepo / large-scale environments
Stay current with advancements in GenAI, LLMs, and agent-based architectures

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in software engineering / AI / ML roles
Strong hands-on expertise in Python
Proven experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems
Experience working with LLMs and Generative AI frameworks
Hands-on with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar agent frameworks
Solid understanding of vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, etc.)
Experience designing scalable, production-grade ML systems
Strong background in prompt engineering and evaluation techniques

Preferred Qualification

Experience building multi-agent or autonomous AI systems
Exposure to fine-tuning LLMs and model optimization
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure)
Prior experience in high-scale or startup environments
