About the Role
We are hiring a Technical Delivery Lead (DevOps) to join our client s technology and infrastructure team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative financial services organizations in the U.S. You ll help drive critical technology initiatives focused on infrastructure modernization, risk reduction, and operational stability.
This is a hybrid role combining hands-on engineering (~70%) and delivery leadership (~30%), making it ideal for professionals who enjoy both technical execution and program ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support delivery of DevOps and infrastructure initiatives across multiple teams
- Work hands-on with containerization technologies such as Docker and OpenShift
- Support Big Data platforms including Hadoop/Cloudera environments
- Drive risk remediation efforts, including vulnerability management and system upgrades (EOL)
- Coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery
- Analyze data and prepare reports for leadership using Excel and PowerPoint
- Ensure alignment with SDLC processes, Agile practices, and organizational standards
- Manage infrastructure capacity, performance, and operational stability
What We re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Delivery, DevOps, or similar roles
- Strong hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Cloudera)
- Knowledge of infrastructure, capacity management, and risk/vulnerability management
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and SDLC processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work across teams and influence stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Cloud, Hadoop, or Containerization technologies
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $70.00 $75.00 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
