Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and framework development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and implementing automated testing solutions, API testing, CI/CD, and modern QA practices. The candidate will work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality and reliable software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies.
• Perform UI, API, database, and integration testing.
• Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot software defects.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and other QA engineers to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis for test failures and production defects.
• Improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QA processes.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure automation standards and best practices are followed.
• Prepare test reports, metrics, and quality dashboards for stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Strong programming experience in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience developing automation frameworks using Page Object Model, BDD, or Data-Driven frameworks.
• Strong experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database testing.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Git and source code management.
• Experience testing applications deployed on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and SDLC/STLC methodologies.
• Experience with defect and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, or TestRail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or other performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of mobile automation using Appium.
• Experience testing microservices and distributed applications.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing and DevOps practices.
• Experience implementing automation strategies from scratch.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education

Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
