Summary

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and IT teams to optimize EHR workflows
Support implementation and upgrades of clinical systems
Provide training and support to end-users on healthcare applications
Analyze clinical workflows and recommend system improvements
Participate in data governance, quality improvement, and reporting initiatives
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory standards
Troubleshoot clinical application issues and coordinate with IT for resolution
Support clinical documentation improvement initiatives
Assist in system testing (UAT), validation, and go-live support

Required Qualifications

Active RN License (State-specific)
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN required; MSN preferred)
3+ years of clinical nursing experience
2+ years of experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic Systems, Cerner / Oracle Health)
Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations
Experience in system implementation or optimization projects

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Nursing Informatics (ANCC)
Experience with data analytics, reporting tools, or clinical dashboards
Knowledge of HL7, interoperability standards, and healthcare data exchange
Experience in large hospital or healthcare systems

Ability to train and support clinical end-users
