GIS Application Developer

Introduction:

As a GIS Application Developer on our team, you will be responsible for developing GIS applications to support our Energy and Utility domain. You will work with various technologies such as C#, .NET Framework, APIs, and integrations to create solutions that enhance our geospatial capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop GIS applications using Hexagon Intergraph technologies such as G/Technology and G/NetViewer.
• Utilize .NET development skills (C#, .NET Framework) to create custom solutions for geospatial data management.
• Work closely with the Energy and Utilities industry to understand their requirements and develop applications that meet their needs.
• Optimize performance of GIS applications by utilizing Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Collaborate with team members in Windows Server environments to ensure seamless integration of GIS applications.
• Follow Agile processes and use tools like Jira for project management and tracking.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and optimize GIS solutions.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in GIS application development.
• 5+ years of experience with Hexagon Intergraph technologies (G/Technology, G/NetViewer, etc.).
• 5+ years of .NET development experience (C#, .NET Framework, APIs, integrations).
• Prior experience working in the Energy & Utilities industry.
• Strong experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience working in Windows Server environments.
• Solid understanding of Agile processes and tools (Jira).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with FME, ESRI, or other geospatial transformation tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API management.
