Job Title: Project Manager (IT Modernization)
Location: Hybrid (Local candidates preferred)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale, multi-year IT modernization initiative. This role requires strong expertise in Agile delivery, vendor management, and enterprise-level project execution.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and program leadership to ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of complex IT modernization projects
- Monitor and control project scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, and resources
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to align business and technical objectives
- Provide clear, timely, and accurate project status updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure deliverables meet contractual expectations
- Facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams to drive consensus and outcomes
- Prepare and present project status reports to leadership and steering committees
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues; escalate when necessary
- Ensure adherence to change management processes and governance standards
- Develop and maintain project management deliverables and documentation
- Manage project interdependencies and ensure alignment across initiatives
- Support Agile Scrum teams with a servant leadership approach
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing large-scale IT projects (budget $20M+)
- 5+ years of Agile Scrum experience
- Recent experience (within last 5 years) as a Project Manager on IT projects
- Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments
- Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration
- Experience managing system integrations and interdependent projects
- Must be able to work in a hybrid model (onsite and remote as required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft DevOps
- Experience in public sector or large enterprise environments
