DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation processes to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure application deployments. The role bridges development and operations teams to improve system performance and delivery speed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
2. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
3. Manage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
4. Monitor system performance, availability, and security
5. Collaborate with development teams to optimize build, test, and release processes
6. Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
7. Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
8. Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies
9. Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
10. Maintain documentation for systems and processes

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2. Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems
3. Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
4. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
5. Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or similar)
