Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) to design, administer, secure, and optimize enterprise cloud collaboration and identity services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Microsoft 365 environments, Exchange Online, Entra ID, security and compliance, automation using PowerShell, and cloud identity solutions. This individual will play a key role in modernizing cloud infrastructure, improving security, and supporting enterprise collaboration services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Expert-level administration of Exchange Online.
• Experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Purview, and Log Analytics.
• Hands-on experience writing KQL (Kusto Query Language) queries.
• Experience implementing Conditional Access, Identity Protection, MFA, RBAC, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Experience managing mail flow, transport rules, connectors, and hybrid Exchange environments.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident management experience.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and administer Microsoft 365 services.
• Manage and secure Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Administer Exchange Online, including mail flow, transport rules, connectors, and hybrid connectivity.
• Configure and manage SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 collaboration services.
• Develop PowerShell automation for provisioning, reporting, and administration.
• Implement security, compliance, governance, DLP, retention, and eDiscovery policies.
• Investigate incidents using Microsoft Defender, Purview, Sentinel, and Log Analytics.
• Create KQL queries for security investigations and operational reporting.
• Manage identity lifecycle, Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, and Identity Protection.
• Integrate Microsoft Graph API for automation and reporting.
• Support CI/CD initiatives using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and infrastructure teams.
• Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational runbooks.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and cloud platform improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote cloud best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 9+ years of IT experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 5+ years administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Exchange Online, PowerShell, Microsoft Defender, Purview, and KQL.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
